How to Order

New to buying online? This page shows you exactly how to order from Rambler Safety, step by step. It takes about five minutes, and you can do all of it from your phone.

Ordering on the website

Step 1 — Find the boot you want

Tap Shop All in the menu at the top to see everything we sell, or tap a category such as Traditional Safety Boots or Chelsea Boots. You can also tap the magnifying glass and type what you are looking for, for example "steel toe".

Tap on a boot to open its page. There you will see the price, the photographs, and what the boot is built for.

Step 2 — Choose your size

On the boot's page you will see a row of numbers. These are the sizes. Tap the number that is your size.

South African sizes are the same as UK sizes. If you are not sure which size to take, open our Size Guide first. If you cannot tap a size, that size is sold out.

Step 3 — Add it to your cart

Tap the Add to cart button. Your cart is like a basket: it holds what you want to buy until you are ready to pay. You have not paid for anything yet, and nothing is final.

To add more items, go back and repeat steps 1 to 3. When you are finished, tap the bag icon in the top right corner to look at your cart.

Step 4 — Go to checkout

In your cart, check that you have the right boots and the right sizes. You can change how many pairs you want, or remove anything you no longer need.

When it looks correct, tap Check out.

Step 5 — Fill in your details and pay

You will be asked for three things:

  • Your email address, so that we can send you your order confirmation
  • Your name and the address where you want the boots delivered
  • Your phone number, so that the courier can reach you

Then you choose how to pay. Our checkout is secure, and you can pay by card or by instant EFT from your bank.

Delivery is R130 anywhere in South Africa, and free on orders over R1,500. The full cost is shown on the screen before you pay, so there are no surprises.

Tap the button to confirm and pay. That is it — your order is placed.

What happens after you order

  • You receive a confirmation email straight away. Keep it.
  • We pack and send your order, usually within 1 to 2 working days.
  • The Courier Guy delivers to your door, and we send you a tracking link so that you can see where your parcel is.
  • If the size is wrong, you have 7 days to exchange it for a different size. Email support@ramblersafety.com and we will arrange it.

Ordering for a company, a site or a team

If you are buying for a group of workers rather than for yourself, do not order one pair at a time. We give better prices on larger orders.

Tell us what you need — which boots, which sizes, and how many pairs — on our Request a Quote page, and we will send you a price for the whole order. You can also look at our Bulk Orders page to see what we supply to teams and sites.
