Inside the Shark

Everything a work boot has. Nothing it looks like.

Four protective layers, one sneaker. Tap a number.

Exploded rendering of the Shark: steel toe cap, upper, composite protective insert and lugged outsole shown as separate layers 1234
Explanatory rendering from the verified specification, not a photograph.
  1. 200J steel toe cap

Impact- and compression-tested to SANS 20345:2023, category SB. The same protection as a work boot, in a sneaker.

  2. Composite protective insert

A non-metallic composite insert beneath the foot, identified in the product specification.

  3. Breathable upper, cushioned collar

Light enough for a twelve-hour shift, cut like a trainer so it goes home with you.

  4. Deep-tread outsole

Textured sole with deep lugs. Refer to the product specification for tested properties.
